Quantum Clarity: Turning Complex Science into an Investor-Ready Strategy

Fundraising

How do you pitch a quantum computing startup when no one agrees on what the market even is?

CLIENT

A Dutch quantum computing hardware pioneer specializing in cryogenic cabling — the invisible but critical connective tissue that keeps quantum processors alive, stable, and functional. Their tech is used not only in quantum computing but also in aerospace, biomedical, and next-gen automotive applications.

THE PROBLEM

Quantum computing is booming — and also baffling. While the science was solid and the team was brilliant, articulating the commercial opportunity was another story.

The company needed to raise funding and fast. But investors don’t write checks for abstract potential. They needed a pitch deck and a full investor memorandum (yes, all 50 pages of it) that would make sense of a highly technical product and a wildly speculative market.

The big challenge? Estimating the size of a market that’s still being invented — and explaining why this team, this product, and this timing were worth the bet.

OUR APPROACH

In just six weeks, we built the fundraising narrative from scratch — without dumbing anything down. Here's how:

We translated quantum into capital. We worked hand-in-hand with the scientific team to distill dense technical content into clear, sharp, and compelling slides that investors could understand and get excited about — without losing the nuance.

We cracked the market sizing puzzle. No easy task in quantum. We built a hybrid market sizing model combining:

  • Bottom-up analysis based on hardware readiness, qubit density trends, and scaling needs for cryogenic systems

  • Top-down projections using investment flows, adoption patterns, and known roadmap trajectories from the big quantum players

  • A smart, assumption-based framework that earned internal alignment (not easy when physicists are involved)

We made the case for growth. Beyond the tech, we mapped the team’s capabilities and commercialization plans, positioning the startup as a core enabler in the future of deep-tech infrastructure.

THE RESULTS

A fully investor-ready fundraising package:

  • A 50-page investor memorandum that combined rigor, clarity, and credibility

  • A pitch deck that cut through the noise and grabbed attention

  • A clear articulation of quantum’s trajectory — and how this company is poised to ride the wave

This wasn’t just about creating a pitch, it was also about positioning next-gen deep tech in a way that speaks to capital.
